In his current position, Dr. Daslav Brkic is responsible for Saipemai??i??s and Snamprogettiai??i??s strategic business and technology development for the onshore markets. This also includes licensing of proprietary technologies.

Dr. Brkicai??i??s career includes many R&D, sales and marketing, strategic development and management assignments, firstly with UOP in Des Plaines, U.S.A., and in London, U.K., later with ABB in Milan, Italy, and in The Hague, The Netherlands. Prior to joining Snamprogetti in 2002, he was the Vice President and General Manager of the International Division of Sirti S.p.A., an international engineering and general contracting firm in the telecommunications business.

He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Technical Universities of Milan, Italy, and Nuremberg, Germany, and has attended the M.B.A. program at the University of Chicago. He is the author of more than 60 publications on several business and technology issues.
