“Status of Subsea Decommissioning”
Subsea decommissioning has become a major issue for the offshore oil and gas industry. There are thousands of subsea wells around the world with related flowlines, umbilicals, manifolds and other subsea hardware. As these fields come to the end of their production life, most countries require these subsea wells be plugged & abandoned and the subsea systems be decommissioned. This presentation will cover this topic and provide some thoughts on the future of this segment.
