“A Wall Street View of E&C”
During this presentation, our speaker will discuss how Engineering & Construction stocks fit in the context of the overall market, how portfolio managers think about E&C stocks, what factors drive the stocks, and what types of analysis we do to assess the prospects for the sector and for individual stocks. We will also address valuation methodologies and our current outlook.
Speaker:
Steven M. Fisher, CFA, CPA is an Executive Director and senior analyst in the general industrials group of UBS Investment Research covering Engineering & Construction companies. He began at UBS in 2001 as an associate analyst covering the machinery and multi-industry sectors.
Mr. Fisher has been recognized as a top analyst in rankings by the Wall Street Journal, Institutional Investor Magazine, Forbes, and the Financial Times. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Fisher worked in the investment banking division of Prudential Securities focusing on the consumer and business services industry. Before that, he was a senior associate in the Business Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Fisher holds an MBA in finance from Cornell University and a BS in

Grand Hall in the Rice Ley Student Center

The Central Campus Garage is the closest parking facility. It is located to the left of the Ley Student Center across the street.
Rice University is a popular meeting location. In the remote possibly the underground parking is full, the second closest parking is the West Lot. Continue down the Laboratory Loop Road to the stop sign. Cross the street and the gate will be on the left. Be sure to bring an umbrella if the weather seems inclement.
The campus also offers a bus shuttle that runs about every 15 minutes as it loops the campus. Look for the bus stop signs to use or enjoy a short brisk walk!

11:30 a.m. sign-in with the speaker beginning at NOON ending promptly at 1:00p.m.
Substitution or Cancellation:
If you need to cancel your reservation, cancellations must be received at globalforum@rice.edu prior to NOON, Thursday, August 4th to qualify for a full refund and avoid a $25 No-Show fee. Substitutes are welcomed . . . we encourage potential No-Shows to send substitutes in their place and have them let us know at the door. Substitutes can be from member and non-member companies.
